Significantly more substantial than its pre-2004 predecessor, our 2006 F-150 XL Regular Cab has a heavier, more solid feel. The suspension reacts more positively to pavement flaws by rebounding rapidly and only as far as necessary. They recover quickly from bumps. Imperfect surfaces can produce quite a bit of body motion, though it's not bad for a truck.
Our Regular Cab RWD XL is the work horse, with reliability sewn into the DNA of the Ford breed. The floor is a non skid washable surface, the seats are sturdy and sound, the bed has cap rails, and the hitch is frame mounted for solid performance should you need to tug around a broken down Dodge. Don't forget how easy it is to get behind the seat on this regular cab and yes, it should be an industry standard but found only here with Ford F150.
